Top 5 Medical Apps on Android in UAE Q3 2024

The third quarter of 2024 saw significant activity in the medical app sector on Android in the United Arab Emirates. According to Sensor Tower, the top five apps in this category exhibited varied trends in downloads and active user engagement.

myAster showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at about 4.4K at the beginning of July and peaking at 5.5K mid-month. Downloads fluctuated slightly, closing the quarter at approximately 4.8K. Active users for myAster started at 166.8K, with a peak of 182.4K in mid-July, before stabilizing around 170K by the end of September.

Daman observed a steady increase in downloads, beginning at 2.2K and reaching around 2.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 6.1K and ending at approximately 7.3K.

myNAS experienced a notable rise in downloads, particularly in the last week of September, reaching 3.3K. Active users also showed a positive trend, increasing from 18.4K to 21.6K over the quarter.

Lumi by Nextcare had a more variable download pattern, beginning with 2K downloads in early July, dipping mid-quarter, and then recovering to 1.8K by September's end. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 8.8K to 9.5K.

mySukoon saw a significant spike in downloads reaching 2.3K in mid-August, after a low of 299 in the second week of July. However, the downloads decreased towards the end of the quarter, stabilizing around 477.
